Description:
Welcome to the Town of Nassau
Transfer Station

Dear Nassau Resident:

The Nassau Transfer Station is provides a convenient facility for residents to dispose of their household waste and most recyclables.  Specific instructions for users of this service are available under the Programs/Activities link.

Please note that there continues to be a number of changes at your Transfer Station.
The Town of Nassau is always looking for ways to improve our services to the residents of our great town.

I would like to encourage you to contact my office with any suggestions you may have for the administration of the Transfer Station.  You may reach me during the week at Town Hall, 766-3559.

The Transfer Station is run in a way that incurs the least amount of expense for our residents but achieves the highest rate of convenience and recycling in our role as stewards of Nassau.

I hope you will take a few moments to review these guidelines as some rules have been clarified and changed for 2010.

Thank you for helping Nassau recycle!

Best regards,

David Fleming
Town of Nassau Supervisor
